Elvis Costello and The Roots Announce Collaborative Album

Elvis Costello and The Roots have announced plans to release a collaborative album, titled ‘Wise Up Ghost’, on September 13th 2013.

The album, recorded at both Feliz Habitat Studios and Costello’s Hookery Crookery Studios, was produced by Steven Mandell alongside The Roots leader Ahmir ‘Questlove’ Thompson and Costello collectively.

In an interview with Billboard, The Roots stated, “we had 13 or 14 songs, but then we said, ‘Ooh! Wait a minute! Let’s replace four of these songs with four better songs! And now we have the tightest 12-14 song collection out of about 20 songs that we made.”
