Emanuel Satie Pays Homage to Ethopia
Following his huge new single on Crosstown Rebels called ‘Addis Ababa’, Germany’s Emanuel Satie will return to Australia next month.
Emanuel Satie is the multifaceted award-winning artist who has become somewhat of a Berlin techno titan in recent years. Landing an internship at the infamous Cocoon Record Label (and spending evenings teaching himself how to DJ), Satie’s relocation from Frankfurt to Berlin is what took his career to the next level. With a string of uber-successful releases on Get Physical, Moon Harbour, and DFTD, the sounds of Emanuel Satie appeal to audiences from far and wide.
His work always comes packed to the brim with gut heavy kick drums, complex melodic phrases, and ground shaking basslines, his latest EP release ‘Addis Ababa’ being no exception.
Stating he loves playing to Australian audiences because we have an open mind when it comes to music selection, we welcome him back with open arms as he returns to Australia this summer over 6 epic dates.
