Fat Freddy’s Drop announce Australian tour dates!
Fat Freddy’s Drop returns to Australia this August/September with their new album Blackbird. Extra shows have been added in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth to accommodate for the tour’s huge popularity to date.
Youtube presents a 2 hour live performance at London’s Village Underground featuring tracks from the new album. Tune in at 6.00am AEST Thursday 27th June or catch the repeat at 6.00pm.

Fat Freddy’s Drop is a seven-piece band from Wellington, New Zealand who combine dub, reggae, soul, jazz, rhythm and blues and techno. Originally a jam band formed by musicians from other bands, the group is renowned for improvising on stage. They have played over 800 shows to date with 412 appearances in Europe, 27 Australian tours and over 300 shows in their homeland, New Zealand. To celebrate a decade of European touring they have released Blackbird in East London, their third studio album.
