Feast Launches 2013 Festival
The 2013 theme for Adelaide’s Queer Festival has been announced: Gender – Mix It Up. The theme innovatively mixes up anything in-between and outside gender binaries with four special events.
From Saturday 9th November – Sunday 24th November the festival will include: Beccy Cole’s Big Hits Tour, Le Male which is Australia’s hottest all-male cabaret review, an awe- inspiring performance with the Monologue of a Deaf Woman and Bedlam – Feast’s wildest DJ party on Saturday 16th November. Expect to hear party animals DJ Kitty Glitter and DJ Kate Monroe on the decks. The 13th Adelaide Pride March will also be taking place, as well as the iconic Feast Picnic in The Park which returns to a new location on 24th November. The full schedule will be available from October 1st 2013.
Alongside the fun there will be music, theatre, film, cabaret, drag and queer ideas throughout the spring festival, which promises to be the most spectacular for promoting pride, community identity and celebration.
