Runner’s favourite film event of the year. An evening of inspirational running films & gathering of like-minded people. 2019 marks the fifth year of The RunNation Film Festival. Founded in Sydney and now an international event, the festival is an original, inspiring event that has been attended by thousands of runners and non-runners, running celebrities all around Australia, New Zealand & many parts of the world.

Gay Speed Dating Singles Party

Gay Speed Dating events are nothing like you may have experienced before. They don’t just randomly split the group in two where you only get to date guys in the other group. This can get super annoying if the cute guy you like is in your group. They make sure every guest gets a date with everyone else. The cities biggest Gay event to meet like minded guys in a stylish and safe setting.

Heat showcases the best local and global spoken word talent, taking the stage to have their say and share stories spanning the personal and political through powerful lyrical flow. This heat is designed for writers and performers from ages 15+. Featuring a guest performance by 2018 Bunker winner, Huda Fadlelmawla, expect a night of raw emotion, clever word play, slam poetry and unique stories.

Tasmanian Writers Soiree

When: Sun 11 Aug 2019, 11:30am–3:00pm

Where: Waterworks Reserve, 19 Waterworks Road, Ridgeway, Dynnyrne, Tasmania

Rug up in your winter woollies and come along to meet the local, talented Tasmanian, published writers, poets, playwrights, and illustrators and take the opportunity to ask them questions about their latest works.
