For The Sun by Close Talker

Emerging from Canada’s indie rock explosion of the past year, Saskatoon natives Close Talker return with the release of their latest single For The Sun. With subtle earworm melodies and dream-like guitars and melodies they have drawn comparisons to Bon Iver and Bombay Bicycle Club. This young quartet’s rhythmic display of complex song structure and well placed vocal harmonies have helped the band carve a new sound that’s all of their own.

For The Sun is a richly layered track that opens, with a fuzzy reverb and builds to create a lush atmosphere of arranged notes, a heart-warming chorus and finely tuned song writing. The single precedes the band’s sophomore LP Flux, following on from their full-length debut Timber, an album that received warm reviews from critics and fans alike.

For The Sun will be available to buy and download from the 8th December as the band embarks on an extensive North American tour for the remainder of 2014.
