Frank Turner At Manning Bar

Frank Turner has added solo shows in Darwin and Cairns to his already packed itinerary this May, and will also perform at the Wide Open Space Festival in Alice Springs, and Groovin’ The Moo festival in Townsville. This will be Frank’s first visit to each of these places, having already completed 2 sold out tours of Australia. The shows happen just weeks after Frank Turner takes to the stage for the biggest performance of his life, headlining at London’s vast Wembley Arena!

Frank Turner’s latest album England Keep My Bones (Epitaph) deftly merges his poetic observations with a rousing and inspirational sonic palette. The result is an undeniably stirring work from one of the UK’s best new songwriting talents.

Critical Acclaim for Frank Turner:

Armed with just a guitar, a microphone, and a can of his beloved Pabst Blue Ribbon, Turner sang from the bottom of his punk rock heart with total passion behind every word. Monstrous sing-alongs, laughs, dancing, and even a group air-harmonica session are all part of a Turner evening.” – Examiner

“Call him the love child of Billy Bragg, Bruce Springsteen, and the hard-rocker of your choosing…this is music you want to share with old friends-music to drink to, think to, and feel to.” – Mother Jones

“The people’s prince of punk poetry” – NME

“An accomplished and impassioned storyteller… Turner’s punk roots are called upon only sparingly, but when they are, it makes for a thrilling change of gear. Stirring stuff “- Q

“Frank Turner gives sincerity a good name on the rousing England Keep My Bones, an exclamation point in an increasingly brilliant career… this spiritual offspring of Billy Bragg sounds like a man trying to unload his head before it explodes.” – Spin
