Day 1
Hervey Bay to Fraser Island Experience Lake Wabby
Drive on a 4WD adventure from Hervey Bay to the eastern beach of Fraser Island. Get off at the entrance to Lake Wabby, then by the afternoon, your hiking adventure begins with an exciting three kilometers hike into Lake Wabby, where you spend your first-night camping under the stars.
Day 2
Lake Wabby to Lake McKenzie
Have a swim in the emerald waters then hike through the untouched Rainforest to Lake McKenzie. The awe-inspiring beauty of Lake McKenzie makes it probably the most visited natural site on the island. Swim at the secret hiker’s beach and enjoy a magical sunset.
Day 3
Lake McKenzie to Hervey Bay
Enjoy an early morning swim and peaceful moments by the beauty of Lake McKenzie. Take a moderate hike 8km out to the barge at Kingfisher Bay Resort.
Move into your 4wd get transferred back to Hervey Bay.
