Review: G-SHOCK’s 30th Anniversary On Brick Lane With Isle Skateboards
G-SHOCK had much to be proud of this weekend! Celebrating their 30th anniversary and brand collaboration with Isle Skateboards on Brick Lane, hosting G-SESSIONS and showing off their wares to all London know how’s.
This unique event possessed a talented DJ playing sweet music to the London public’s ears with a skate ramp set just outside the G-SESSION’S pop up shop where you can enjoy a beverage or two whilst watching skilled boarders take the stage.
As part of G-SHOCK’S 30th anniversary, G-SESSIONS have been launched all over Europe to seek out original and astonishing artists across a mass of skills, similar to the collaboration held this weekend with Isle skateboards.
On the weekend, both Isle Skateboards and G-SHOCK released and sold limited products to the London public, with G-SHOCK getting creative and selling their line in a floating fish-tank.
Not only was the event a celebration, it was also an opportunity for people to voice their opinion and sign the on-going petition for ‘Long Live Southbank Skate Park’ campaign. The purpose of this petition is to stop the relocation of Southbank’s beloved historic Skate Park that has been around for 40 years.
This was definitely a weekend filled with talent, fun, laughter and luxury, celebrating G-SHOCK’S 30th anniversary and exhibiting the up and coming brand Isle Skateboarders.
