Garbage Finally Back On UK TourWowzer! Popular 90’s band Garbage have announced their first UK show for seven years. The band, who reunited in 2010 after an ‘indefinite hiatus’, will play in London in May before heading off to Eastern Europe on tour. Garbage have also confirmed live dates in France as well as festival appearances in Germany, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden. Pretty continental for these guys after many years out of the game! More details are expected to be announced soon.
The band has also confirmed that their new album will be titled ‘Not Your Kind Of People’ and that it will be released on May 14. The album, which is their first since 2005’s ‘Bleed Like Me’, will be released on the band’s own record label Stunvolume, which was launched last week. They have certainly grown up since 2005 haven’t they?
Recorded in Atwater Village in Los Angeles, the album is the group’s first not to be recorded in the bands hometown of Madison, Wisconsin. Do us a favour guys, don’t bring us a Ting Ting’s styled album, bring us some GARBAGE!
