Garbage Premier New Single “Empty”
Garbage premier latest single from new album.
Scottish-American alt-rock band Garbage premiered their new single “Empty” through KROQ’s morning show and is now available for download and streaming worldwide. The latest release comes from their highly anticipated sixth album “Strange Little Birds”, set for an early June release. You can pre-order the new album here
When talking about the new single, lead singer Shirley Mason said: “Empty is just exactly what it says it is. A song about emptiness”.
Full of grungy bass riffs and fuzzy guitar licks, Garbage have established a solid sound that they know works. Shirley Mason’s simple yet powerful vocals are the cherry on top of this loud cake and is a perfect taster for what the new album entails.
The band celebrated their 20th anniversary last year with their sold out “20 Years Queer” world tour.
