There is something to do nearly every day as artists are playing throughout the month with performances from people such as DJ Vinch Peach, Ian Brown, Tom Burgess, Temper Trap and more, this May Ding Dong Lounge is the place to be!

Wednesday 7^th May

It is Mo Soul’s 1^st Birthday and you can feed your music cravings this Wednesday as you listen to vibes from DJ Vinch Peach. The Amy Winehouse Tribute Band will be headlining the celebrations while Rita Satch will be second with her new single, ‘Love You Like I Do’. The night of festivities will be opened by the mysterious Shhor who will set the tone for the rest of the evening. Doors open from 8pm and it is free entry.

Friday 8^th May

This night is going to be the Indie mash-up of the week at the all new Ding Dong Lounge, Weekender. Weekender has hosted international stars like Ian Brown and Tom Burgess to name a few, along with shows from up and coming stars like Temper Trap and Little Red. This Friday Weekender holds the post-gig party for the world famous Arctic Monkeys. Start your night from 11.30pm and end it when daylight breaks.

Thursday 15^th May

A joint venture tour is taking place this May with She Rex and Lepers and Crooks. They’ve combined their talents on this East Coast tour to present you with some of the very best gig nights. Whether you’re a fan of ‘The Heist’ or ‘Her Kiss’, She Rex and Lepers and Crooks bring talent and inspiration on the 15^th of May. This is an adult only event and ticket sales start from $10, doors open at 8pm.

Tuesday 20^th May

Ding Dong Lounge plays host to the Grasshopper Launch Party featuring Jakubi (live), London (live), Tranter, Tomerdson, Marquee Moon, Toffee Apple Princess, Manic Pixie Dream Girl and Celery Ham. Make the most of this gig night full of spectacular talent and keep refreshed via drinks starting from $5. If the line-up doesn’t do it for you then surely the free dumplings at midnight will.

Friday 23^rd May

Come and see the last headline show in Melbourne for The Hiding on the 23^rd of May. This will be the last gig celebrating the launch of their EP before they continue their journey overseas. They will be delivering a dose of their four new singles which combine a mix of Electro, Rock and Indie. The Hiding will also be joined by the great acoustic acts Danvers and Pretty City. Doors open from 8pm and presale tickets start from $9 or $12 on the door.

Sunday 25^th May

This event was developed by a pure and genuine concept to help sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis. The gig will raise funds for Kiss Goodbye To MS Campaign, encouraging those who know people with MS to get involved. This gig goes beyond simple awareness and Gig Goodbye To MS covers a broad range of genres from Rock, Hiphop and Soul in order to access as wide an audience as possible. There’s no better way to spend the 25^th of May. The line-up includes Echo Drama, Halcyon Drive, A Basket Of Mammoths, Leez Lido, Kinder, and Plastic Spaceman. The venue has been donated to support this cause and the tickets are $10 at the door, all proceeds will also be donated. This is an adult only event and doors open from 5pm.
