Gingerfest 2015

Calling all dedicated punk rockers! Don’t miss the second edition of Gingerfest at The Factory Theatre for a day jam packed full of beers, moshing and great music.

Created to honor the memory of Nicholas Sofer-Schreiber aka the ‘Ginger Ninja’, it seems only fitting that this punk rock festival be named after his spectacular head of ginger locks. With a lineup boasting the likes of heavy rock’n’roll group Gay Paris, ska punk band The Porkers and folky punk rockers The Hard Aches to name just a few, this is sure to be a day to remember. The festival is also set to feature entertainment from the ambiguously titled Jay and Lindsay’s Variety Hour, which promises both ‘tunes’ and ‘banter’ in equal measures.

Proceeds from the festival will be donated to Vision Australia, in addition to being reinvested into funding local punk rock events in the future, so you can have a great time whilst also supporting a good cause! Tickets go on sale Tuesday 6th October at www.factorytheatre.com.au .
