Goldfrapp Announce New Album ‘Tales Of Us’
Goldfrapp have announced the release of their sixth studio album, ‘Tales Of Us’, due out on September 6th 2013.
Written and produced by band members Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory, ‘Tales Of Us’ was recorded in their studio in the English countryside.
A carefully designed album, ‘Tales Of Us’ ventures into the minds of individual characters, with each track named in the first person. It’s cinematic, poetic and beautifully crafted showing a clear progression in Goldfrapp’s career.
In other Goldfrapp news, the band have plans for a European tour of special shows throughout July, making stops at Manchester International Festival on July 17th & 18th 2013 where they will perform ‘Tales Of Us’ live for the first time. The band are also set to headline the mainstage at this year’s Lovebox Festival in London on July 21st 2013.
