Making the journey to the stunning natural surroundings of the Grampians? Why not crash at a hostel with ecologically sound practices which support the natural environment you came to see?

The Grampians are a rugged mountain range, renowned for breathtaking views, rich natural environment and stunning wildflower displays.

Get your hiking boots on- popular activities in the area include rock climbing, abseiling and exploring the Grampians National Park hiking trails. Visit Aboriginal rock art sites, spectacular lookouts and awe inspiring waterfalls.

However, if you are more of an indoor traveler, simply relax in front of the hostel’s wood heater, read a book on the picnic tables and spot the friendly local kangaroos and wallabies, send a long overdue email home, or watch a DVD- there’s something for every backpacker!

The Grampians YHA Eco Hostel 50% fewer emissions than a traditional hostel. Rain water collection, recycled grey water and solar powered hot water systems reduce the hostel’s impact on the environment- all without compromising on your comfort!
