Green Day European Tour 2017
Green Day made their epic return to our airwaves this week, with the release of their highly anticipated Revolution Radio record, the band’s spectacular first offering in four years.
The US trio’s twelfth studio album has also gloriously seen them go back to their East Bay punk roots, as well as triumphantly bagging the top spot in the UK album charts today.
In support of the Hall of Fame rockers’ instant classic, the band will be embarking upon a massive world tour next year, seeing them perform across Australia, North America, Europe and the UK.
The European leg of the tour will kick off in Turin, Italy in January and will finish up in London on the 8th February. Support will come in the shape of rising punk rock stars, The Interrupters.
The American idiot hit makers have further revealed that they will be one of the headline acts at next summer’s British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park; following in the footsteps of The Libertines, The Strokes, Blur, The Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder. The boys are due to play the outdoor event on 1st July.
