Heat Things Up With The City Of Perth’s Winter Arts Season
This week, the biggest ever City of Perth Winter Arts Season is launching ‘Picasso to Warhol: Fourteen Modern Masters’ at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. This is just 1 of over 150 ways to excite your senses in the city between June and August.
There is a range of theatrical, cabaret and musical offerings from some of Australia and the world’s best artists. See the WA Museums’s Hackett Hall Gallery transformed into a sonic dream world by Tura New Music. Or heat things up a bit with some theatre cabaret called ‘Guy/Doll’ DownStairs at The Maj. For food, Friday 29 June begins the City of Perth’s Winter Supper Club, 5-8pm on the last Friday of each month during winter. Head to the Perth Town Hall undercroft, brimming with European-style hot food vendors serving up soul warming dishes like paella, tasty stews and soups, tagines and bratwurst, all with a side of entertainment provided by our Winter Artists.
The City of Perth Winter Arts Season runs until Friday 31 August and should not be missed!
