Honeymilk Sanguine Skies EP Release

Indie rock act Honeymilk have been keeping very busy this year, touring and recording new material for their new EP, Sanguine Skies. Honeymilk consists of Marcus, Nikki and Erik and the Swedish-based trio have been described as a blend between The Strokes, Ty segall and Velvets.

Ahead of their EP release, the band has released two singles from the upcoming effort. Let’s Talk About Compassion is an infectious indie song that shows just where the compassion has gone. Impressive drum beats and sweet soaring guitar riffs filter though the track and are brought together by Marcus’ raw yet stunning vocals that cater to any listener’s ears.

A Scene In Between is the latest single lifted from their forthcoming EP, Sanguine Skies. The track is richly layered with impressive drum continuation, soaring electric guitars and a heavy kick drumbeat that comes together to create a sonic melody.

Honeymilk’s proficiency with their instruments never seems to waver. This is distinct in their latest single that showcases well-crafted, stop/start interplay between guitar and bass against high-register vocals from Marcus. The Swedish trio is all about quality and energy alike.
