Hotel Discovery is a large city hostel located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD and right next to the world famous Queen Victoria Markets. Minutes’ walk from Melbourne’s major attractions, nightlife, live music, shopping, hidden laneways and cheap international cuisine, your Melbourne discovery starts here!

Stay 3 nights or more and receive a FREE airport pick up from Tullamarine Airport. We also treat our guests to FREE Wi-Fi, breakfast, daily events and job & travel advice. Our friendly local staff at our 24 hour reception will keep you entertained with daily events such as poker & quiz nights, walking tours, pub crawls, AFL games at the MCG & even volunteer work.

Hotel Discovery is a large city property with many accommodation options available. We are perfect for the budget traveller who is looking for basic accommodation that is clean, safe, affordable and fun! You are guaranteed to meet lots of people whilst taking part in our daily events & parties!

For travelers looking to share accommodation we have 4, 6 & 8 share dorms and also 10 – 16 share dorms for those looking for an even cheaper option. For those wanting some privacy we also have basic private double, twin & family rooms. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities, heating and linen.

To ensure you a hassle free and safe stay all floors and rooms have swipe card access, we have 24 hour reception & overnight security staff, CCTV and strict ID polices.
