Interdisciplinary Art Project Anyone?
Austria’s HVOB aka Anna Müller and Paul Wallner are set to bring their ‘interdisciplinary art project’ of live electronic music to Australia for the very first time this November.
Since releasing their debut album ‘Trialog’ in 2015, HVOB’s profile has blown up, gaining recognition from music media around the world. Their experimental live performances, played alongside a drummer, earned them an invitation to perform a Boiler Room in Vienna, a gig which is a rite of passage for any credible electronic music artist. HVOB’s Boiler Room performance caught the eye of American Thump Magazine, who then included their album Trialog as a contender for the ‘Album of the Year’ award.
Their world tour has taken them across Europe, Africa, America and Asia and they will make their Australian debut on Friday 18th November at Strawberry Fields Festival in Victoria before headlining the closing party Melbourne Music Week in Melbourne on Saturday 19th November.
