Indian Film Festival – May 2013

Indian Cinema is celebrating 100 years of making movies, and Melboure is set to host the Indian Film Festival 2013 to mark the milestone.

There will be screenings of Indian movies at different venues, including ACMI and Federation Square, and visits and lectures by Indian cinema personalities.

Vidya Balan is a famous actress and the Ambassador for this year’s India Film Festival,  which takes place between 3rd and 22nd May.

Australia has a strong connection with the Indian cinema as Melbourne and other cities in Australia have been home to a few productions in recent years.

Indian cinema’s best and brightest will return to Melbourne for the second Film Festival.

The biggest stars and most talented filmmaker’s will have the opportunity to introduce their films, take part in an audience Q&A and share their insights with like-minded people.
