Inside Out pres Andrew Weatherall at New Guernica – 13th Jan

Inside Out brings the legendary London producer, remixer and DJ, Andrew Weatherall (Rotters Golf Club, Boys Own) to New Guernica for one very special night this January 13th. Don’t sleep on seeing one of the true innovators and purveyors of quality dance music in his element as we pass the reigns and turntables over to the governor himself!

Legendary record company founder Alan McGee of Creation Records was out here in Oz recently saying he now hated the music industry. He spoke at a conference to a room full of enthusiastic young people yet couldn’t break their spirit because one of the records his label released got these peeps into music, Primal Screams Screamadelica. It was one of the earliest examples whereby a bunch of DJ’s got together to produce a rock band, one of the young DJ’s that helped make this revered record was Andy Weatherall.

He’s being flown out to play the Sydney festival, but you can see him in the state with the better weather here at Guerns on Friday 13th January. Its like an annoying Mastercard advertisement except you can get to dance to one of the most important DJ’s the UK has ever spewed onto the globe. Oh and please note, the guy helped create the remix of the Happy Mondays Hallelujah, which is one of the biggest club anthems ever, ever. Andy Weatherall knows good music. Dont Miss!
