International Street Food Festival
The foodies among us will be in their element during the International Street Food Festival, the perfect place to eat and drink recipes from Asia, Europe, America, Middle East and Africa.
The weekend of Australia Day, fill your mouth with food from all over the world, from the French gourmet delights of Chooh La La, to Rice Box Japanese Cuisine and Melbourne’s Mr Burger. You can also learn the tricks of the very best, with demonstrations from the likes of Israeli pastry chef, Gad Assayag, Peruvian Grill head chef, Alejandro Saravia, and Rosa Mitchell from Rosa’s Kitchen.
When you can tear yourself away from the tastes and aromas of the food stalls, you’ll discover loads of entertainment for your other senses. If you’re keen for a laugh, the comedy lounge will be open with Brett Blake, Geraldine Hickey, Mayumi Nobetsu, Russell Wigginton, Laura Davis, James Masters and many more providing the jokes. There’s also live music from The Cat Empire, Tinpan Orange, Pete Murray and Royalty Noise for an eclectic array of style and genre.
Combining the finest food around the world from the nation’s best chefs and entertainers packing a cultural punch into the mix, there’s no reason not to pop by the International Street Food Festival on 25th or 26th January.
