iStorage datAshur Review

The iStorage datAshur personal 16G, claims be “the world’s most secure, easy to use and affordable USB flash drive that employs PIN code access with military grade AES 256-bit hardware encryption”. Unfortunately for the user this is almost too true.

A great idea, and brilliant once you crack entry but after a number of attempts we’ve still not cracked changing the pin code, which means you end up using it with the set up code provided. The buttons are also extremely small and it’s not very easy to key in the code, unless you’re a child or petite person. This will surely be the way of the future for USB’s as data protection is on everyone’s minds. Hit us up for round two, love the idea, but just not practical.
