The Jackaroo Hostel, located in the hip area of Kings Cross, is a cool haven for the international traveller, in the heart of Sydney Australia.

The Jackaroo Hostel is a family run hostel. Owned and operated by best friends and brothers Robert and Jade Smith.

We understand that the Jackaroo Hostel will be the centre of your Sydney experience, and we want it to be memorable. We love Sydney, and we want you to love it too.

We can help you organise all the usual ‘must see’ tourist attractions like the Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, Taronga Zoo or the Blue Mountains. Then when you are done with all the hustle and bustle, we can show you the Sydney that we know. Maybe get out of the city for a hike, go climbing, or maybe do some camping. We can also show you where to eat, drink, party or just relax with some friends.
