Jamie Isaac unveils two Dexter Navy directed videos ft. King Krule and Rejjie Snow

Jamie Isaac has released two video pieces directed by Grammy-nominated director Dexter Navy to inaugurate the announcement of his debut album ‘Couch Baby’.

Navy was responsible for ASAP Rocky’s recent videos including the visually stunning ‘LSD’. The director has now collaborated with Isaac and DAZED to produce a short video featuring two tracks from his forthcoming debut LP;  ‘All My Days’ and ‘Last Drip’ – both are shot entirely on film and feature cameos from collaborators such as fellow South Londoner King Krule.  He’s sharing both the extended version which follows a beautifully–shot candid narrative across London; as well as an individual video for ‘Last Drip’ which is already lighting up the radio airwaves.

The prodigious 21-year-old has steadily gained the interest of music fans over the last couple of years through a string of taster releases, remixes and features, now his highly-anticipated debut album ‘Couch Baby’ has finally painted his vision in vivid colours. Despite being the ring leader of the new South East London scene Isaac still holds claims to his own distinct sound. Over the course of two acclaimed EP’s he has carefully mapped out his musical journey, tying together strands of jazz, soul, trap, classic hip-hop and avant-garde electronica to monumental effect.

Now, with ‘Couch Baby’, he pushes even further into uncharted territory with ‘All My Days’ – that brilliantly meshes crooning with wonky, burbling synths in a softly warped soundscape.  Every note this young man forges is consumed with an energy that is wise beyond his years; his sound is irresistibly youthful and modern and is something that could only have been born in 2016. He’s already earned firm fans as widespread as Zane Lowe, Pitchfork and Huw Stephens, and is on his way to becoming one of the most talked about UK talents of 2016.
