Jamie T Live At Manchester Academy
After five years since his last album release, ‘Kings And Queens’ Jamie T has made a massive comeback to the music scene and has returned to performing on the big stages as well as having a number of top tracks released.
Earlier this month, the London lad travelled north to the Manchester Academy for what was the biggest arena he has performed at in four years. As he arrived on to the stage donning a baseball cap and looking very relaxed and at home, Jamie T took the mic and said, “”It’s good to be back. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in this venue.”
Clutching his guitar, the crowd erupted in to song as he played his hits from his rich catalogue of songs. His loyal fans who welcomed him back after his absence were pleased to hear their star singer perform ‘Salvador’, ‘Limits Lie’, ‘Don’t You Find’ and a personal track of his, ‘Peter’.
The Academy was brought to a frenzy when Jamie T performed ‘Sticks ‘n’ Stones’ as he returned to the stage for an epic encore that also included ‘Sheila’ and ‘Calm Down Dearest’.
Showing that in his time away he hadn’t lost any of his stage presence, Jamie T has fully announced himself back and we can’t wait to hear more from the talented musician.
