‘Collision at The Corner’ is the newest creation from the people who bring you ‘Showdown at The Corner’ festival every summer. It will feature 10 of Melbourne’s favourite Rock bands on both stages at The Corner Hotel going toe to toe with their biggest hits. Acts include Barbarion, King Of The North, The Deep End and Empra and tickets are going for just 20 bucks!

Sabaton
Swedish Rockers Sabaton, having initially been billed to perform at The Prague, have had to reschedule their gig due to the unforseen closure of the venue and will now perform at The Corner on Sunday 13th January. With a solid string of hits and a growing loyal fan base this excellent live band have created a buzz in Australia but hurry as tickets for this gig are selling out rapidly.

The Story So Far
California Pop Punk group The Story So Far are set to make their debut in Australia with two shows on Tuesday 15th January, performing with Melbournian rockers Anchors after having already linked up together in Japan. The show comes as anticipation builds for the bands second album due for release in early 2013 featuring Sam Pura and New Found Glory guitarist Steve Klein.

Twelve Foot Ninja
Australia’s big hope of Heavy Alternative music Twelve Foot Ninja are to launch their debut album ‘Silent Machine’ at The Corner Hotel on Friday 18th January along with the new video for the single ‘Coming For You’. After serving their apprenticeship with the likes of US band Periphery and UK Prog Metal band Tesseract Twelve Foot Ninja also announced their biggest headline tour yet set to commence in early 2013.

Boys Of Summer Tour
Deez Nuts are touring in Australia for the first time since April 2012 and take to the stage at The Corner Hotel as part of the ‘Boys Of Summer Tour 2013′. Deez Nuts is the music project of JJ Peters, which came to pass after his original group I Killed the Prom Queen disbanded in 2008. Fusing Hip-Hop and Hardcore with other genres Deez Nuts have a strong following and will be the main attraction of the event. Support will come in the shape of Comeback Kid and For The Fallen Dreams with some acts yet to be announced.

A Place To Bury Strangers
New York Rock ensemble A Place To Bury Strangers appear again in Australia after a long absence in which time the band line-up has been chopped and changed with ex drummer Oliver Ackermann now fronting the group. With three full length albums already released the band boast a strong fan base and will see this tour as a chance to promote their newest full length ‘worship’, released in summer 2012.

Lianne La Havas
British Neo-Soul sensation Lianne La Havas comes to Melbourne on the back of her breakthrough year where you could scarcely avoid superlative-laden reviews for her excellent debut album ‘Is Your Love Big Enough’.
