Celebrations are in the air as 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of Australian music icon, John Paul Young’s stellar career and together with The Allstar Band, “JPY” is marking the occasion with two very special performances is Melbourne and Sydney this May.
As undoubtedly one of the most popular Australian artists of the 70’s, John Paul Young has cemented himself a place in music history with a string of hits resulting in over 4 million record sales and capped with an induction in the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2009.
John Paul Young will be performing all of his greatest hits spanning his impressive 40 year career at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre, Friday, 4 May and Sydney’s Capitol Theatre, Saturday, 12 May, where he will prove he is far from Yesterday’s Hero, but an enduring presence in the soundtrack of Australia for the last four decades.
