Jon Hopkins’ Australian Tour

Following the release of his recent LP, Jon Hopkins returns to Australia for a tour in December. The success of ‘Immunity’ has created international respect for the UK artist, and now he will be gracing Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and the Meredith Music Festival with his presence.

Up until now Jon Hopkins has been seen as a somewhat elusive character, sticking to producing music, remixing and composing tracks for film scores. Although he has been a long time collaborator with the likes of Brian Eno and Coldplay, Jon admits that his work with others has over-shadowed his solo work. Now with three solo albums it is fair to say that he has developed his own signature sound.

The new and powerful album ‘Immunity’ is packed with Dance tunes that have been highly praised. With sounds of reverberating rhythm and guitar riffs it seems that Jon’s foray into independence is working on a global scale.
