Katie Hopkins Infuriates Everyone With Talk Of Overweight Children
Not one to shy away from a controversial, opinionated outburst, Katie Hopkins has been let loose on the world again as she now airs her opinion on the topic of fat children and what should be done about them.
The 38-year-old mother, who shot into the public eye in 2007 after being a contestant on UK reality TV show The Apprentice, has been a figure of public hate for many years but more so after featuring on ITV’s This Morning in July 2013 and insulting thousands by making generalisations based on how parents choose to name their children.
As if this didn’t create a big enough stir, Hopkins is repeatedly encouraged to rile tempers by regularly appearing on This Morning, and was most recently armed with the opinion that if your child is overweight, you are failing as a parent.
She commented on The Huffington Post, “If you have fed your child into obesity – you are failing your child. If you think not talking about it will make it go away – you are wrong. You need to get your head out of the sand and your kid’s head out of the food cupboard.”
Whilst the topic of discussion is one that most will agree does need addressing, Hopkins’ condescending snobbery enrages everyone so much that no-one seems to want to agree with her, even when she does have a point.
Currently trending on Twitter, the ‘most hated woman in Britain’ is receiving backlash from thousands who aren’t shy to express just how much she really manages to get under their skin – so I think it’s safe to say that almost everyone wishes the woman would just Hop-kins back into the hole that she crawled out of.
