Davos, Switzerland
One of the highest Alpine resorts, you can take your skis and enjoy more than 300km of ski slopes catering for all abilities. A true winter wonderland, the resort is also home to Europe’s largest natural ice-rink. Aviemore, Scotland
It’s no surprise that one of the UK’s best ski resorts is in the mountains of Scotland – Cairngorms National Park to be precise. With a regular bus service, you can spend the day slipping and sliding, and then relax in the hydrotherapy pool or Thai Lodge Spa in the evening. Bansko, Bulgaria
With excellent ski and snowboard conditions spread across 70km, Bansko is the best winter resort in Bulgaria. The town sits at the bottom of the Pirin mountain, with hotels, bars, restaurants and more. Bansko is also home to the winter and music wonderland of Horizon Festival from 12th – 17th March. Taking over the mountains, this six-day party is bursting with ski action, DJs and unique stages including forests, warehouses, thermal pools, go-go bars and more.
