Latitude Festival 2012: 12th – 15th July, Henham Park Estate, Suffolk

Latitude isn’t just about music: it offers a full spectrum of art including film, comedy, theatre, cabaret, dance, poetry, literature and art together for a fun-filled, cultural adventure by the sea that is loved by the British public.

Now in its seventh year, Latitude has four stages dedicated to showcasing an eclectic line-up of established bands and budding new acts, with a stage nestled in a clearing in the woods, and another beside a lake.

Across seven separate arenas, as well as making use of the woods and lake, the festival will showcase comics, filmmakers, visual artists, poets, authors, actors, directors and dancers in the Arts Arenas.

Line-up
There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012, expect the first announcement in the Spring.

Childrens Arena
The children’s arena is a mini-festival in itself, with local children’s organisations firmly at its heart. There’s a dizzying range of activities and entertainment including art and craft workshops, theatre and puppet shows, local author events, a minimonsters roadshow and missions to complete with the guerilla geographers!

There will also be a Baby and Toddler chill out tent which also includes a soft play area, free sunscreen, baby changing and food warming facilities and more.

Boutique babysitting
Latitude will offer dedicated fully qualified festival childcare professionals who will provide bespoke childcare at a ‘mini festival’ of their own: the Boutique Babysitting kids club. Parents will be given the chance to drop off their little ones at a choice of two 4-hour sessions.

Family campsite
There is a dedicated family campsite, for families with children under 13 (who can attend for FREE) within the public camping area and also a family campervan area within family camping.
