LE1F Plays free one-off London Date At Birthdays on 1st November
Le1f will be touching down in London on 1st November playing a free gig at Birthdays during his UK and European tour.
Earlier this year, New York rapper Le1f pricked up ears with his astonishing ‘Dark York’ mixtape, a sprawling, utterly compelling compendium of singular and subversive hip hop which immediately claimed its very own distinct space on the musical spectrum. Even though it featured collaborations with the likes of Nguzunguzu, 5kinAndBones5 and Don Jones, ‘Dark York’ still sounded like nothing else, a bold and densely packed opening salvo which immediately established Le1f as one of the most exciting new talents of the future.
Now, with a brand new mixtape, EP and video on the way (and anyone who has seen the incredible cult video for the single ‘Wut’ would know we’re in for a treat), Le1f is heading out on his debut tour of UK and Europe to play a string of live dates, including a very special free show at Birthdays. Make sure not to miss this chance to see one of the most inimitable and electrifying new artists around.
With artists such as Le1f and Dominic Lord emerging from the scene, it’s safe to say that new Hip Hop is finally on the up.
