THE ROLE

In this role as a Float Secretary you will support a number of different authors and be exposed to various areas of Law. This is a great way to broaden your legal knowledge whilst enjoying the stability of a permanent position!

Providing firm-wide support, this role will see you responsible for:

• Extensive Dictaphone typing

• Assisting the Word Processing team

• A high volume of file management

• Diary management

• Relief Reception

• Client liaison

• Preparing and amending documents

• Assisting with billing

• General administrative duties

THE CANDIDATE

In this role as a Float Secretary you will support a number of different authors and be exposed to various areas of Law. This is a great way to broaden your legal knowledge whilst enjoying the stability of a permanent position!

In addition to this, candidates should be able to prove that they have:

• A minimum of 2 years legal experience

• Strong MS Suite skills and a fast and accurate typing speed

• Dictaphone experience is essential

• Word Processing experience (preferred but not essential)

• Strong organisational skills and communication skills

• A high attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team

• Ability to adapt quickly to different working situations
