Let Them Eat Cake 2016 Line-Up Prediction
Who do you think will be making an appearance at Let Them Eat Cake 2016?
Let Them Eat Cake returns to Werribee Mansion on New Year’s Day 2016. Showcasing some of the world’s best electronic music, Let Them Eat Cake has become a festival that every electronic music fan wants to be at and every electronic artist wants to play. While the official line-up won’t be announced until 15th September – along with the first release tickets – here’s who we predict will be taking to the mansion lawns on New Year’s Day 2016.

Omar-S
Hailing from Detroit, Omar-S does things his way, producing raw House sounds, the majority of which have been via his own label, FXHE. From 2007’s ‘Psychotic Photosynthesis’ to 2013’s ‘Thank U 4 Letting Me Be Myself’ and the more recent ‘I Wanna Know’ in 2015, many House music fans have stumbled upon him and found themselves enchanted by his impecable groove. If he is confirmed for Let Them Eat Cake, it would be a great, great thing.
Thundercat
With a blend of Electronic R&B, Jazz, Funk and Psychedelic, Stephen Bruner, AKA Thundercat, is hot property and perfect for Let Them Eat Cake. As well as his own records, including his 16-minute, six-track EP, ‘The Beyond / Where The Giants Roam’, this LA producer and singer has worked with Kendrick Lamar, Kamasi Washington and Flying Lotus.
Joy Orbison
We have a strong belief that London-based DJ and producer, Joy Orbison, will be bringing his style of house, funk, dubstep, jungle and garage to Let Them Eat Cake. His debut single, ‘Hyph Mngo’, was one of the biggest underground successes of 2009, and he’s gone onto make floorfillers in clubs and fields like ‘Sicko Cell’ and ‘Ellipsis’.
Four Tet
We’ve got an inkling that Four Tet may well make an appearance at Let Them Eat Cake 2016, due to the fact that he’s already going to be in the country for Lost Paradise 2015, so with any luck he’ll bring his electronic vibes to the tables!
Jon Hopkins (He’s already n the country for festivals)
Another likely suspect is Jon Hopkins who will also be in Australia for Lost Paradise, so we’re putting our money on a rendition of his atmospheric, alternative electronica at LTEC. And who knows, maybe the Four Tet remix of his track Vessel might get dropped.
Motor City Drum Ensemble (He’s already n the country for festivals)
We’re also hoping that Motor City Drum Ensemble might bring their electronic funk to Let Them Eat Cake 2016 to ring in the New Year.
