Let Them Eat Cake Annnounce 2017 Lineup
It is the start of the festival season in Australia and the announcements have been flying in thick and fast. It sure will be a busy summer! The one announcement we always wait for with bated breath is Melbourne’s Let Them Eat Cake NYD Festival. Now in it’s fifth year, this little gem has grown from humble beginnings to selling out their 2016 edition, and it’s one those events where the sum of its many amazing parts have turned it into something more unique than anyone could ever have imagined.
They just announced their brand new 2017 edition with a suitably credible lineup which runs the genre gamut from house (Heidi, Leon Vynehall), to beats (Cut Chemist, edIT, Onra) and much more. Check the lineup below and get your tickets now, word on the street is that the first day tickets sales has smashed all records for previous first day sales. You have been warned!
The beautiful gardens of Werribee Mansion (where it feels like your hanging out with your mates in someone’s immaculately manicured backyard) would go a long way in explaining it’s success, or it might be the arts program which is beautifully soundtracked by the globe’s most credible acts which draw the people. Either way, it’s special and you should go, there is honestly no better way to see in a Australian new year.
