Lou Barlow Australian Tour 2012
One of the most prolific and influential songwriters of his generation is coming back to Australia to play a string of intimate solo shows in April.
Lou Barlow has been a mainstay of the alternative rock scene since as far back as the early 1980s, when he co-founded Dinosaur Jr with J. Mascis. After an acrimonious exit from Dino in 1989 he concentrated his efforts on Sebadoh, as well as working on a host of other side and solo projects such as the commercially successful Folk Implosion. After burying the hatchet with J. he rejoined Dinosaur Jr. in 2005, and the band has since toured extensively and released new material to much acclaim.
Barlow has continued to record and release new solo material and is a respected solo performer in his own right. Accompanied by only his guitar, the indie icon is ready to wow audiences in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth with his unique brand of raw and emotionally affecting folk.
