FULL DETAILS OF ALL LOVEBOX DANCE ACTS BELOW:

The 3 day event held in June will see old favourites and musical institutions Hospital Records and Rinse 106.8 FM showcase their finest MC’s and producers alongside new additions; The Red Bull Music Academy who are quickly establishing themselves as the preeminent voice in nurturing British breakthrough talent. What better way to convey their success than with a thirst quenching line up featuring the sounds of Hessle Audio’s Pearson Sound, Ben UFO & Pangaea, plus Mele, Brenmar and BBC Radio 1’s Benji B.

Be sure to join the party early on Friday as East London’s most popular radio station, Rinse 106.8FM sets the benchmark for the rest of the weekend with performances from Magnetic Man, the debut live show from Zinc+, Boy Better Know, Redlight, P Money, Brackles and Supplier.

Also on Friday, Lovebox readies Victoria Park for a horn-blowing, whistle-frenzy in the Digital Soundboy Eastside Carnival will give Londoners license to dance until the speaker’s blow as Sub Focus, Rusko, Shy FX, Breakage, Toddla T Sound, Youngman and B-Traits dish up a zealous serving of bassomatic sound-waves, vibrant carnival treats, samba collectives and much more.

Not content with that, Hot Chip return as Friday main stage headliners following their storming set in 2010. French wonder kid Madeon will hypnotize crowds with his electronic pop wizardry and warped Canadian indie stars Crystal Castles are set to whip the crowd up with their on stage antics as they raise the curtain on a weekend just getting started.

Then on Saturday, Hospitality, one of the country’s fasting selling club nights swaps Brixton Academy for the new Lovebox Big Top as they deliver an enviable line up too big for even it’s 6,000 capacity South London home. Netsky, High Contrast, David Rodigan, Camo & Crooked and Danny Byrd are just a few of the acts which will leave clubbers salivating at the prospect.

The Crosstown Rebels bring the Rebel Rave to Hackney on Saturday as well, as Maceo Plex, Art Development, Amirali Live and label boss Damian Lazarus spin a volley of Fabric and DC10 favourites. Demand has never been higher for a collection of DJ’s at the very top of their game.

The final dance arena on Saturday goes to London promoters du jour, Warm & Electric Minds, following on from the success of their storming parties all over the capital the two promoters welcome the likes of international stars Dixon, Prosumer, Joy Orbison, Move D, Gerd Janson and more to the infamous NYC Downlow structure.

One of the most globally in-demand electronic live acts in recent years, Booka Shade will also feature on Saturday spearheading one of the biggest dance-a-thons the capital has ever seen.

Andrew Weatherall, Tim Sweeney and Optimo lead the charge on Sunday as Lovebox institutions Horsemeat Disco supervise a mêlée of electronic DJ’s worthy of their formidable reputation as the ‘UK’s finest operators of Disco’.

Cross over to Trailer Trash and Gutterslut as they guarantee to make hairs stand up on the arms of even the most ardent of clubber as Germany’s godfather of Techo, DJ Hell tops a jaw dropping bill alongside James Murphy and Pat Mahoney marking their highly anticipated return to the UK dance scene, plus Tiga, Ivan Smagghe and more.

Also across Sunday catch band of the moment Azari & III, Chicago house impresario Felix Da Housecat, Dan Beaumont, The Lovely Jonjo and many, many more.

Long after the gates have closed festivalgoers are invited to party late into the night as XOYO (Friday) and Ministry of Sound (Saturday) host the official Lovebox after parties.

With tickets starting from under thirty quid per day there is little doubt that this legal high won’t be available for long.
