Maitreya Festival 2013 For those looking for something a little more spiritual, Maitreya Festival offers you the chance to meet like-minded people as you get more connected with your inner self over the course of the weekend.
Maitreya is an outdoor festival situated just outside Melbourne in the tranquil and relaxing Australian bush. It strives itself on it’s sense of community, and encourages festival-goers to spread their knowledge of life. It provides a full programme of learning activities that are all free of charge. You’ll experience an assortment of live music, dance and digital art, along with interesting workshops ranging from artistic expression and wisdom to healthy living and politics.
The musical entertainment will take place across 4 stages, and will feature some international talent as well as local acts. However, in true Maitreya tradition, details of the acts and stage times will not be announced before the festival to encourage guests to attend primarily for the festival itself and not for some superstar headline DJ.
