Malpas Debut Single ‘Under Her Sails’ Due For Release 27th April
Malpas’ debut single ‘Under Her Sails’ takes delicate vocals and a strong background of acoustic blended with electronica, delivering a satisfying finished product.
The production of the song is basic, mixing acoustic guitars, xylophones and human percussion which whilst empty in terms of prescience, the delivery is nothing shot of superb. Vocals from the band are softly spoken which results in listener paying more attention to the delicate undertones of the track. Harmonising with vocal lines is the deep bass, which holds the song together and gives it a power resonance. The song changes from light xylophones notes to an orchestra like keyboard progression, taking you on an aural experience unlike anything currently out on the market.
Overall this song is light in terms of delivery and repetition of the sweet vocals gives a crisp finish, fading out slowly and sweetly. This single is set to be release 27th April through Killing Moon Records.
