Maroochy Music and Visual Arts Festival makes its return Saturday September 10

Heading into it’s second year, MMVAF will return to build on a very successful first year. The line up will be announced soon and will aim to live up to last years names which included Flight Facilities, Alpine, DZ Deathrays, Gang of Youths and Hermitage.

Leading the Visual Arts side of the festival will be specially commissioned work by renowned installation artist Amanda Parer to be unveiled on the day. Her giant, luminous work is part of the ‘Fantastic Planet’ series and will debut at MMVAF before touring around the globe. An array of local artists will also create works to complement the festival’s trademark rolling greens.
