Drum n Bass royalty Matrix & Futurebound are heading Down Under for a massive 8-date tour across Australia and New Zealand.

The British duo comprising of Jamie Quinn (Matrix) and Brendan Collins (Futurebound) boast an impressive track record, with four consecutive UK top 40 hits between 2012 and 2014 with ‘All I Know’, ‘Magnetic Eyes’, ‘Don’t Look Back’ and the huge DnB anthem ‘Control’ with Max Marshall which peaked at number 7 in 2013 and last year became certified silver (meaning it sold over 200,000 units in the UK alone). 

Their career has seen support from the likes of Annie Mac and Pete Tong as has catapulted them to the forefront of the drum n bass scene.

Fresh from a 2016 that saw them play Creamfields, EDC UK and USA, Global Gathering and Liquicity to name a few, they’re back and better than ever, releasing three singles in the past four months, ‘Fire’ with Max Marshall‘, ‘ The Wall’ and a remix of ‘Breathing Underwater‘ by Emeli Sande, a song which they performed with Sande on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge at the legendary Maida Vale studios back in December.

Matrix & Futurebound begin their Australasian tour on Australia Day, 26th January at the Royal Melbourne Hotel in Melbourne before heading to Chinese Laundry in Sydney on 27th January where they will play alongside Delta Heavy. They then head west to Perth on 28th January for the huge Hidden festival which features an variety of huge bass music acts, after which they head to The Biscuit Factory in Brisbane on 4th February, Cassette Nine in Auckland on 8th February, The World Bar in Queenstown on 9th February, Winnie Bagoes City in Christchurch on 10th February and concluding in Wellington at San Fran on 11th February.
