Miley Cyrus Shakes the World

Oh, Miley. We don’t know where to begin. Could it be the failed attempts at twerking? Or the vinyl underwear that may have caused painful friction? Perhaps we should focus on the famous pose that giraffes are imitating around the globe?

Wherever we start Miley has been stirring up a storm with her recent performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Already there has been a wave of incredible memes, gifs and jokes.

Parents are in uproar everywhere, which is kind of ironic considering her famous dad Billy Ray Cyrus is on the board of the Parents Television Council that complained against MTV.

Other sane people have been appalled too. If you thought your reaction was bad or cruel, nobody could stop Taylor Swift from covering her face and nervously laughing (possibly hysterically). Justin Timberlake’s personal favourite reaction was that of the Will Smith family who had jaws wide open throughout the thrusting and grinding against a merry Robin Thicke.
