Misfit’s Shine Heads To Australia Apple Stores
The Shine is a new fitness device from Misfit, the co-founder of which is former Apple CEO, John Sculley, and will be heading to Australia this month. Sold in Apple stores, Shine could be judged for jumping on the bandwagon of the trendy pedometer gadget, but it does so much more than count your footsteps.
Made out of aircraft-grade aluminium, it is a sturdy activity monitor with trusted longevity and can be dunked in water of up to 50m. Partnered with an iPhone app, you can set a daily goal and it will keep track of all your movements throughout the day, measure your distance travelled by foot, swim or cycle, and count the calories you’ve lost. The lights around the edge of the disk show your progress and the time, and when you want to check your stats at the end of the day, just tap it against your phone’s screen and you’ll see it all before your very eyes.
Built for every fitness-fanatic in mind, Shine can be worn on a strap like a watch, on a necklace or attached to clothing, for super convenience.
