Pioneers of the ’90s lo-fi movement, Sebadoh make their long-awaited return to Australia. Beginning in the late ’80s as a side project for Lou Barlow of Dinosaur Jr, he and collaborator Eric Gaffney turned their attention to Sebadoh after the former departed from Dinosaur Jr, adding Jason Loewenstein to the lineup, touring and recording demos, with a unique diversity leading to a cult following. Upon Gaffney’s departure in 1993, Loewenstein joined Barlow as principal songwriter and Sebadoh went on to release their two most accessible and successful albums, ‘Harmacy’ and the recently reissued ‘Bakesale’.
