Mulga’s Adventures 3-Day Rock Tour
See Australia’s super rocks with nature at its most incredible. In the small outback town of Alice Springs in the Red Centre is where your 3-Day Rock Trip with Mulgas Adventures begins. Prepare to absorb rugged natural beauty, Aboriginal culture, red earth and rocks – lots of them.
Day one kicks off nice and early with a 6am pickup. First stop is Uluru. This mammoth monolith is 348m tall, with a round-base distance of 9.4km. A trip to the Cultural Centre provides insight into local plants, animals and Aboriginal people, and the site’s cultural and historical significance to them. Your guide will take you on an interpretive walk at the base of Uluru, and then kick back with a glass of bubbles for the jaw-dropping Uluru sunset, finishing up back at camp for a hearty dinner and hot shower before retiring under the stars.
Your second day begins with an early breakfast before watching the sunrise over the world’s most famous rock. Next stop: Kata Tjuta. Different entirely to Uluru, it’s a collection of 36 dome-shaped formations which look other-worldly. Walk through the Valley of the Winds to feel the magic of the place, and understand its name! That evening enjoy an outback BBQ and campfire at Kings Creek Station before sliding into your swag to sleep under the stars. Can you get more Aussie than that?!
The final day takes on the spectacular Kings Canyon rim walk, incorporating the North and South walls, The Garden of Eden and the Natural Amphitheatre, each equally stunning, unique formations. As if that wasn’t enough excitement, before returning to Alice Springs you stop at a camel farm with the chance to hop on for a free ride!
This incredible outback experience is just $370pp and includes an experienced guide, park entry, camping fees, pick-up and drop-off, air-conditioned bus transport, meals, swags and a free camel ride.
