Music Video Review: Tensnake feat Nile Rodgers & Fiora – Love Sublime
It’s no surprise 2014 is proving to be an extremely eventful year for the energizing House artist ‘Tensnake’ having just unveiled his third music video for new single ‘Love Sublime’.
Along with the upcoming release of his debut album ‘Glow’ on 10th March 2014 via Virgin EMI records, ‘Tensnake’ is also filling his calendar with a wave of shows and festivals in a number of locations.
‘Love Sublime’ has a traditional House structure to it, with all the fade-ins and vocal reverb in all the right places. The song itself is enjoyable, especially the input from Fiora who partook in the vocal duties once again for ‘Tensnake’, further demonstrating the strong working relationship these two artists have together.
The single ‘Love Sublime’ also has a bundle tracklist available featuring five extra tracks including an extended mix of ‘Love Sublime’ and four remix tracks from other producers including Duke Dumont, Le youth, Jonas Rathsman and Ewan Pearson.
The quirky video for ‘Love Sublime’ certainly has originality behind it, not to mention one of the a great music video with an awesome twist at the end. The visual direction for this music video has an almost art-house feel to it, with certain camera angles, camera shots and the vibrant lighting. It is quite a journey for a three and a half minute song.
A visual cameo of ‘Nile Rodgers’ can also be seen in this video, showing a live performance of ‘Nile Rodgers’ playing on a television set in what looks like a Spanish antique shop and a late night convenience store.
This is a very impressive and original video that will do ‘Tensnake’ and ‘Love Sublime’ really well in the long run. Suffice to say, should we fall off our skateboards, we hope a girl like that comes along to take care of me, don’t know what we’re talking about? Then check out the music video for ‘Love Sublime’ below.
