myki Visitor Value Pack
If you’re travelling around Victoria as an international or interstate visitor, make sure you purchase a myki.
Like Transport for London’s Oyster card, myki provides access to public transport by offering a smartcard that can be topped up with myki money, and used as many times as you like. myki can be used on trains, trams and buses in Melbourne and on some train and bus services in regional Victoria.
Visitors usually get their myki with the Visitor Value Pack, which includes a ready-to-use myki card with enough value to travel for one day on Melbourne’s public transport network (Zones 1+2). The myki Visitor Value Pack also comes with a load of other benefits, offering great discounts at 15 city attractions including Melbourne Aquarium, the National Sports Museum, and Eureka Skydeck. There’s also a very handy souvenir wallet to keep your myki in. myki Visitor Value Packs are available to buy from the Melbourne Visitor Centre, PTV Hubs at Southern Cross Station and 750 Collins Street, Docklands, and many hotels for your convenience. The full fare pack costs $14 and includes $8 myki money.
myki gives you the freedom to travel, whether you’re heading to Melbourne Airport, St Kilda Beach or on a tour of the famous laneways. With myki, you don’t have to worry about buying a ticket each time you use public transport, just make sure your myki is topped up and you’re ready to go.
