Nannup is a small town, on the banks of the Blackwood River in the center of the Jarrah and Marri forests of the southwest.
Getting to Nannup
If you’re driving from Perth it’s approximately a 3-hour drive, simply take the Kwinana Freeway south until you drive into the Forrest Highway which will take you into Bunbury. At the Eelup Roundabout take the first exit left and drive through the Bussell Highway toward Busselton. Follow the signs for Nannup and Vasse Highway which will take you all the way to Nannup Music Festival.

A colorful celebration of original music, art, nature, community, and diversity the Nannup Music Festival will be celebrating its 30th anniversary over the WA Labour Day long weekend over which the streets come alive with stalls, performances, and activities. It will be an amazing and inspiring weekend for everyone and a special place to share a festival experience and authentic good times with your friends.
Why is this event so special?
It’s a graceful and friendly event to share with all, from all corners of the world. The festival presents four days of original music by both emerging and established acts, local art and markets all set against the picturesque surrounds of Nannup. This year, Nannup Music Festival is nominated for a WAMAward in the Most Popular Music Event category.
What are some of the highlights to expect?
This year the festival will see an
incredibly diverse program to meet a diverse audience. The huge mix of artists:
old favorites like Eric Bogle, Bernard
Carney, and Loren Kate; new favorites like Southern River Band,
BecSandridge and William Crighton; fresh ones like Little Quirks, Asha
Jefferies and Greta Stanley. There will also be acts from remote NT and WA,
street performance, workshops, art activities, dance, bands, meditations, yoga,
the Emerging Artists Award, and poetry.
Accommodation
Nannup and the surrounding areas host a wide range of accommodation from camping on private properties to luxury Bed and Breakfast. You can camp at the Festival Campground or at the popular Nannup Caravan Park or at the Parks & Wildlife campground.
Tickets
Tickets may be purchased in person by visiting the Nannup Music Club Inc. Office, located at 20 Brockman St in Nannup. They also provide phone ticket sales via credit card. Festival and Camping tickets can be purchased online through TryBooking.
Tickets can be purchased in the opening hours during the Festival: Friday 9am-11pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am-11pm. Tickets are not available on the door at the venues, with the exception of Friday night at the Amphitheatre where you can purchase a separate Friday Night ticket. Camping tickets can also be purchased directly from the Festival Campground when you arrive in Nannup.
